[locked to DATS]

Ivan, have you managed to ask Cannonbeemon about that equipment yet? If you can't find anything, I have a few other ideas to try, but I'd rather go with the less destructive methods first.

[locked to Fillmore, Jason, Luna, and Ben]

Jason Scott, Luna Lovegood, Ben Tennyson? Fillmore mentioned that you might be interested in taking some CSI classes with me. If you're all interested, I'll add you to the class roster. Assuming that we don't have another crisis on our hands by then, class will be Sunday at the main lecture hall at Neon City Community College.

On July 25th, CSI Level 3 Tim Speedle and I processed the crime scene for the Hana Asakura case. We analyzed the evidence, but it's going to be difficult to prove much of anything. Right now, it does corroborate the story given by Hana's partner, but it could equally exonerate the perpetrators, as the scene was too contaminated to indicate whether it was an intentional attack or self-defense on their part.

//Attached: Report, locked to Commanders

As I said, the crime scene was contaminated due to rescue efforts and from the delay between the attack and the investigation. The weather--particularly the dew on the grass--diluted blood evidence and degraded many of the genetic samples. Some of the DDNA we collected, however, do point to some Shamanmon being at the scene, but it's impossible to tell whether we can find them again due to the number of eggs on the scene.

And as a final note, I would like to recommend CSI Speedle for membership with DATS Neon. He's more than lived up to the reputation his lab has among my own in Nevada.

[locked to Silver Dragon/Hinata Inn residents]

Is there anything you can tell me about your recent eviction? Xellos may have been able to do things legally, but at the very least, you may have evidence to cover your tracks. I can't promise any overt help from DATS Neon, but is there anything that stood out?

Tim, I'm going to be processing the crime scene from the Hana Asakura case. I could use another pair of eyes, and I'm interested in seeing for myself how the Miami Lab works.

Overture 15: [locked to Greg]

Amused, Smug
I've been working overtime since the attack on the city. The first real chance I have to check my D-Comm, what do I find? You and Sabine suddenly have a son.

Is there something you two want to tell me?
I said stop
This is Gil Grissom with the DATS Neon Crime Lab. We've got a lot of injured that need immediate medical attention, but even with the EMH, we're going to need more. We've evacuated those that can move or need to be moved, but we're going to be getting a lot more, including those fighting the Ultimate out there.

Apologies for the delay on the report. We've had a heavy caseload, so I haven't had much time for paperwork recently.

//Attached: Full report of the attack, locked to the Commanders

To summarize, on May 31, an alarm was tripped at the Junk City foundry factory. Agent Lelouch Lamperouge and I arrived on-scene to find the factory all but abandoned. We were soon attacked by a Cybertronian that could transform into a shark, who our reports indicate is named Sky-Byte. Though we did pull our weapons on him, he made the first attack, and our partners evolved to the Adult level to help us engage both him and his Whamon. Unfortunately, all of our attacks were ineffective. We were defeated, and Sky-Byte and his partner managed to escape.

We later tried to process the scene, but without the factory's foreman to detail any missing inventory, it's impossible to tell just what they were after. Much of the equipment and products were damaged during the battle.

Seems like there's a lot more chaos than usual over at the Silver Dragon, between the transgender water and the love potion bake sale. You may have to reveal whatever suspects you have soon before everyone starts blaming you for the tainted brownies.

By now, I'm sure you've heard about the recent murder in Neon, suspected to be the work of the criminals Barry the Chopper and Gluttony. While assisting Greg Sanders in processing the scene, I noticed that many of the agents who arrived on scene were young or did not have the training to handle both the practical and emotional tasks involved in responding to a crime scene such as this.

I can't do much about the emotional response, but I can at least offer help regarding how to process evidence and avoid contaminating the scene. I'm willing to offer classes to the Neon Branch and Investigation Unit, if anyone is interested.

Gil, you okay? You look upset.

Just need to take care of something. I'll be out for the rest of the day.

We got a report yesterday of apparent vandalism at the Neon Art Museum. Since it's the second time in two weeks we've heard complaints of damage over there, I decided to check it out. Burn marks on the walls and floor at the natural art exhibit, and a damaged camera. They had the sense to rope off the area to try and minimize any contamination, and I managed to find some trace DDNA from a Patamon against one of the walls. There was fur on the ground matching the DDNA signature, and it was slightly singed, so it's definitely evidence.

On top of this, Emiko hasn't come into work in the past couple of weeks, and Daisuke's looking for Dark. His girlfriend Riku Harada was also searching for Dark, and I believe she has a Patamon.

Have either of you heard anything from Dark recently? I don't like to jump to conclusions, but the evidence seems to suggest there's a connection.

Doc, I'm going to need your help. One of my old team just got here injured. He's in D'Ango, so we'll need to get him to either Tetha or Neon.

Ed, next time you destroy something, please keep away from the Crime Lab. The mass spec needs to be recalibrated now, and I'll need someone's help with that.

Gil, what's that?

Preserved specimen of an irradiated fetal pig. The one I had in my office back in Vegas disappeared when I was packing. I wasn't sure I'd find another.

Do I even want to know where you got that? 'Cause I've lived long enough to tell you that there aren't any irradiated fetal pig trees that I've seen.

Then it's probably best not to ask.

[locked to "Emiko"]

Also, Emiko? There's something I need to talk to you about.

I've heard you're the go-to man for this kind of thing, and I need to keep this away from the lab at Central. I need DNA run on this:

//Attached: DATS Neon EMT kit

I just got this from a Daisuke Niwa, who says his friend Dark used it to treat him and a friend they went to rescue. He claims that Dark may have taken this from his roommate, Ed Elric from Central. However, in the equipment log, Emiko Hiwatari signed it out.

//Attached: Paper cup

Use this for a known sample of Emiko's DNA, then cross-reference it against the samples on the kit.

I ran the jewel and found trace data of a Dokunemon on it. It wasn't a whole lot, so it's not likely that the Dokunemon came into a lot of contact with it. However, there were traces of data that my D-Comm didn't recognize--possibly DNA belonging to a Tamer. However, even if I could run it, it's not a big enough sample and there's nothing to match it to.

You probably have your hands full with this virus, but I was hoping you could help me. For all the experience I have working in the crime lab, I'm completely at a loss here in the Digital World. Given DNA samples or fingerprints, I can solve any crimes involving humans or other "organics," but I can't seem to find any forensic analogue to Digimon. There's only so far trace evidence can take us.

I know there are limits to what you can share with us, but I believe this would greatly improve the law enforcement of this world.

My name is Gil Grissom. I understand there is an investigative unit here in Neon, and I was wondering if they could use any help. I was previously the night shift supervisor of the Las Vegas Crime Lab, and due to our shortage of CSIs, I was often out in the field, so I have a good background in both forensics and crime scene investigation.

Thought you said you were retired, Gil.

So did I. I guess investigations aren't quite ready to let go of me.
